POAH (Property Owners Association of Hampton) includes the owners of the four apartment complexes, condominiums and the single-family homes.  POAH is the designated governing board responsible for the upkeep of the neighborhood, including selected signage,  102 acres of common areas, the Community Center/Pool and tennis courts.  They also hold the lease of the golf course property (located on the commons).  Everyone who owns property within Hampton is automatically a member of POAH and required to pay annual dues as set by the POAH Board.
